Hi, I'm Herbert!
I'm a standard poodle and Salisott PCC's Therapy Dog in Training.
I was adopted from Serenity's Poodles in Washington State and was adopted because my personality is an ideal fit for helping support stressed out people.
When I graduate all my schooling, I'll be supporting children testify in court.
Different Help for Different Populations.
Whether you are a parent or professional caring for a child/adult with complex needs or are a professional supporting the caregiver, we have a team member to support.
We even have a therapy dog (in training) <-- to help children who are called to testify in court.
Our Team
Alexandra (Alex), MSN- RN
Parent Support Specialist, T1 Diabetes
I’m Alexandra Salisott, MSN, RN-but please call me Alex.
I’m a proud parent of three neurodiverse kids, a nurse with a focus on diabetes care & education, and I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when I was three-years-old.
I have lived and grown through the tricky parts of healthcare, school, friendships, sports, and just real life with T1D.
With this experience, I now support parents as they navigate these complex systems with the goal of helping them feel empowered, not overwhelmed.
Before nursing, I spent 13 years as a funeral director, supporting families through grief and transition—an experience that continues to shape the care and compassion I bring to every part of my work.
When I’m not working, I’m either embroidering something fun or perfecting the art of a really good cup of coffee.
Cynthia
Especialista en Apoyo para Padres
¡Hola!
Sam
Parent Support Specialist, Autism Certified
Hello there, I’m Sam! I’ve never met an ice cream I didn’t like, despite my dairy allergy, and I’m a lover of stories in all forms.
My four kids keep me busy but when I do have a moment of quiet, I tend to fill it with books, podcasts, and movies.
I have a certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders and a passion for all things neurodivergence. I believe deeply that with a focus on curiosity and compassion, caregivers can finally feel like they are on the same team as their kiddo!
I support families through play and silliness, while sharing the knowledge and tools to help them reach their goals.
While I may have worked for a magician in college, my passion for helping families enjoy time with each other is no trick!
Sarah
Founder, Parenting Coordinator, Parent Coach for Complex Families
Hi, I’m Sarah Salisott.
Parent Educator, Parenting Coordinator, Parent Coach for Complex Families and founder of Salisott Parent Coaching & Certification.
I help parents in high conflict co-parenting, foster/adoptive families, and their legal teams and court professionals utilize approaches that are child centered and are actionable for high stress adults.
After parenting children with complex trauma and big behaviors, I spent thousands of hours learning what actually works—and now I teach it in ways that make sense for real families.
Whether I’m coaching grownups, training professionals, or dancing down the grocery aisle singing off-key, I’m here to remind you that you’re not alone, and that joy and chaos can live in the same home.
Our custom fit approach will meet you where you are at in your journey and support you as create your ideal relationships.
Whether you learn best through 1:1 conversations, in a live group, or on your own time, we have education and support options to built for your style!
Parent Coaching for Complex Families
Rather than offering generic advice or surface-level strategies, this work focuses on how attachment, nervous system regulation, communication patterns, and boundaries shape day-to-day interactions.
Check out the 2026 Brochure
We were cooking up a storm when we prepared this brochure.
Our goals was to share our passion with individuals like you to help you decide if we are a service that can help you reach your goals.
Let Us Know How We Are Doing
We are firm believers that just because we know what we are talking about, doesn't mean we always know how we are coming across to our clients and the community.
We invite you to leave us feedback so that we can keep doing what you love and consider pivoting to address any gaps!
Those Who Stand for Nothing Will Fall for Anything
Modern proverb with unknown authorship
We believe that our values are more than simply something to aspire to. They are something to guide our every action as an organization and a team. We share these three values as they explain both the why and how of the way we support caregivers and professionals.
Credit to Humanworks8 for their robust work in helping bring our values into words we can share with you all.
Honor Everyone
Create a judgement-free space. Give each individual a voice and a chance. Empower others to be authentic and own their legacy.
We believe that everyone has a story worth honoring.
We create a welcoming space where all voices are heard, respected, and valued.
No matter your background, identity, or circumstance.
When our clients are asked if they know what some of our values are, this one comes up every time. We don't just have it written on a wall, we live it every day.
Let's Go There
Meet people where they are today. Rise to the challenge and recognize unlimited possibility.
We lean in to any conversation that a person needs to have. We believe that growth comes from leaning into difficult conversations through integrity and courage, and that no one should have to do that alone.
This value underpins all the work that we do when we are preparing to support a parent. We feel it is important to balance the therapeutic threshold of what people can tolerate to work on with the need and desire to make a change.
Educate and Equip
Dig deep into research. Partner together to share knowledge so others can do better, be better and thrive on their own.
Research is a priority at Salisott Parent Coaching and Certification.
We combine our lived experiences, professional trainings and certifications, with emerging knowledge to curate paths to success.
There’s a lot of information online and in stories, we sift through what is relevant to individuals we support and present it in a way that’s easy to understand and applicable to each unique caregiver's journey.
This runs parallel to a quote by Dr. Raquel Martin,
Learn About our Workshops"You can't address what you don't acknowledge, you can't acknowledge what you don't recognize and you can't recognize what you have not been educated to see."
Parents Who Walk the Talk
Everyone on our team has sat on their couch and wondered how they could keep going as parents.
Some of us have even sobbed uncontrollably in the parking lot of a closed Nissan dealership standing outside their driver's door while a child raged in their carseat. Looking at you Rosen.
It's fantastic when family professionals are able to deep dive into research and relationship modalities to help parents, caregivers, and professionals. Yet that can't compare to having a professional who knows the pain of missing out of family events because their child isn't welcome. A professional who has lived through losing friends and family because their child's behaviors scared them. A professional who has wondered how much more they could take, while having a different professional tell them they are doing all they can.
We needed different, so we became the professionals families like ours deserve.
We can't wait for you to take the leap and allow us to support you in your family goals.
If this sounds like you...If this sounds like you, email Alex@SalisottPCC.com to see how our team may be best able to support you and your family.
You don't have to do it alone.
Get to the Heart of your Family's Emotions
