Lean Into Joy
A 12-week coaching program for parents of autistic children.
You did not get the parenting experience you were expecting.
Maybe the diagnosis was recent. Maybe you've been adjusting for years. Either way, you've probably been handed a lot of advice that does not fit your kid. You've probably had a provider treat their differences as a problem to solve. You've probably read a parenting book that left you feeling worse, not better.
This program is for what comes after that.
Lean Into Joy is a 12-week 1:1 coaching program for parents who are ready to step out of the mainstream parenting playbook and into a custom-fit, neurofriendly approach to raising their child. Not a program to make your kid easier to parent. A program to help you become the parent your kid actually needs — which is often a much more joyful version of yourself than the parenting world makes space for.
Hi, I'm Sam. I'm an Autism Certified Parent Support Specialist and I work with families of autistic kids around the world. I have a special love for families of Gestalt language processors, families whose kids communicate in ways the world tends to misread, and families who have felt pathologized by other providers and are ready for a different kind of conversation.
This program is for you if:
- You are parenting an autistic child and the standard advice does not fit
- Your child is a Gestalt language processor or uses AAC, and you want to understand them on their terms
- You have felt judged, pathologized, or talked down to by other providers
- You are grieving the parenting experience you imagined and ready to discover the one you actually have
- You want to spend less time managing meltdowns and more time creating connection
Across 12 weeks, we will work on:
- Reading your child's actual communication, including echolalia, scripts, AAC, body language, and stims, as the meaningful language it is
- Building a custom-fit set of strategies that work for your kid, not a generic kid
- Reducing meltdowns by understanding the underlying needs they signal, instead of trying to suppress them
- Creating predictability and safety in ways your child can actually use
- Holding space for your own grief, frustration, and overwhelm without letting them run the show
- Navigating the people in your life who don't understand (extended family, schools, well-meaning friends)
- Finding the moments of joy and connection that are already in your family and growing them
- Becoming the confident, attuned parent your child already needs you to be
What you get:
- Twelve 60-minute 1:1 sessions, delivered virtually, scheduled at your pace
- A play-based, neurofriendly framework you and Sam build together over the program
- Between-session support by email for the moments that come up between calls
- Resources tailored to your child's communication style, age, and family situation
Investment: $1,800 ($2,400 if paid per week) USD for the full 12-week program.
A note on language and approach: I am neurodiversity-affirming. I do not use compliance-based methods. I work alongside speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other providers, and I help families be informed advocates within those systems. This program is parent coaching and education. It does not replace therapy or medical care for your child.
