Let Us Know How We Are Doing

We are firm believers that just because we know what we are talking about, doesn't mean we always know how we are coming across to our clients and the community.

We invite you to leave us feedback so that we can keep doing what you love and consider pivoting to address any gaps!

Those Who Stand for Nothing Will Fall for Anything

Modern proverb with unknown authorship

We believe that our values are more than simply something to aspire to. They are something to guide our every action as an organization and a team. We share these three values as they explain both the why and how of the way we support caregivers and professionals.

Credit to Humanworks8 for their robust work in helping bring our values into words we can share with you all.

Honor Everyone

Therapy Dog for

Create a judgement-free space. Give each individual a voice and a chance. Empower others to be authentic and own their legacy.

We believe that everyone has a story worth honoring.

We create a welcoming space where all voices are heard, respected, and valued.

No matter your background, identity, or circumstance.

When our clients are asked if they know what some of our values are, this one comes up every time. We don't just have it written on a wall, we live it every day.

Let's Go There

Night Sky representing rising to challenges and recognizing unlimited possibilities
Meet people where they are today. Rise to the challenge and recognize unlimited possibility.

We lean in to any conversation that a person needs to have. We believe that growth comes from leaning into difficult conversations through integrity and courage, and that no one should have to do that alone.

This value underpins all the work that we do when we are preparing to support a parent. We feel it is important to balance the therapeutic threshold of what people can tolerate to work on with the need and desire to make a change.

Educate and Equip

Parent Educator Sarah Salisott after delivering a training at the Wisconsin Crisis Intervention Conference

Dig deep into research. Partner together to share knowledge so others can do better, be better and thrive on their own.

Research is a priority at Salisott Parent Coaching and Certification.

We combine our lived experiences, professional trainings and certifications, with emerging knowledge to curate paths to success.

There’s a lot of information online and in stories, we sift through what is relevant to individuals we support and present it in a way that’s easy to understand and applicable to each unique caregiver's journey.

This runs parallel to a quote by Dr. Raquel Martin,

"You can't address what you don't acknowledge, you can't acknowledge what you don't recognize and you can't recognize what you have not been educated to see."

Parents Who Walk the Talk

Everyone on our team has sat on their couch and wondered how they could keep going as parents.

Some of us have even sobbed uncontrollably in the parking lot of a closed Nissan dealership standing outside their driver's door while a child raged in their carseat. Looking at you Rosen.

It's fantastic when family professionals are able to deep dive into research and relationship modalities to help parents, caregivers, and professionals. Yet that can't compare to having a professional who knows the pain of missing out of family events because their child isn't welcome. A professional who has lived through losing friends and family because their child's behaviors scared them. A professional who has wondered how much more they could take, while having a different professional tell them they are doing all they can.

We needed different, so we became the professionals families like ours deserve.

We can't wait for you to take the leap and allow us to support you in your family goals.

If this sounds like you...

Get to the Heart of your Family's Emotions

Research shows that children who can communicate and manage their feelings are more confident, resilient, and form stronger relationships.
